for those that have insurance covered pumps (question)
I called the company that my insurance (cigna) deals with for medical supply they told me I will need a dr prescription and to make sure he gives me a diagnosis code
What kind of diagnosis would he give me? Especially if I havent had the baby yet. I know if the baby was in nicu & I couldnt nurse is the one of the biggest reasons they cover this but...I pray that not the case plus I want to try to get it before the baby is here
Im due at the end of April
Any advice...thanks

Re: for those that have insurance covered pumps (question)
This was a while ago so I don't remember exact details, but I know I didn't have to get the script myself. I believe either Edgewood or my insurance co called and got the scrip themself from my OB. The pump was on my doorstep within a few days and this was WAY before I delivered. I think all I had to do was give them my doctor's name and number.
