For those that had 1st b-day parties indoors...

obviously we cant do a bouncy thingie... what types of activities can you do?

you can hire a clown for magic tricks,balloon animals etc..depending on the age group you can have sand art or a craft table..party places offer this stuff..

We had DD#1 1st birthday in a resturaunt and hired a puppet show which was hit, they also did balloons and tattoos for the kids

* Hire an entertainment company with a clown/ costumed character. Some places do singing/ dancing/ tattoos, cotton candy with the kids.

* Craft Tables: foam crafts; decorate your own cookie/ cupcake; coloring sheets and markers (can use Color WOnders for NO mess)

* Not sure of ages- but you can do a Scavenger Hunt (depending on ages- can use picture OR word clues)

* Pull string pinata

* Make your own sundae

* Good old fashioned games of freeze dance; hot potato; musical chairs; pin the tail on the (whatever your theme is)

* SOme great games to play with a group of 3- 13 year olds are Hullaballoo and Hyper Dash...both sold at Target.

* Tape a HUGE piece of bulletin board paper to your wall and give the kids crayons to make a mural. FUn that lasts forever!!

* Bubbles. I let my kids blow them in the basement. Fun times!

We had a coloring table and a craft table, we had elmo come, and a magician. We had over 20 kids. And music of course.
