For those that delivered at Good Sam

Did you get a phone call weeks after delivery from someone saying that you were entitled to a free photo taken in your home? I just got a call from someone saying that they do a free photo shoot and they would be in a my area tomorrow. Just wondering what the catch was.

Also did you get any newborn picture taken when you were in the hospital? I just realized that I have a baby photo of myself taken in the nursery when I was born, but maybe they don't do that anymore?

YES! i thought it was strange.. my mom said its totally normal they even did it back wheni was born 24 years ago.

they asked if i wanted to buy a package of nursery pics but i thought they were a bit pricey and i had already booked with summer so it was a waste!

yes some lady came in to ask me if i wanted pics taken and gave me her song and dance i declined. then about 4 weeks later i got a call and they asked if i wnted a free picture.. i declined again. so im not sure if you really get a free picture... its prob a free sitting fee hen you have to pay for the prints KWIM?

I had them come around while I was in the hospital - she actually came in twice. I haven't gotten the home call yet, but I wouldn't be surprised.
It's a free sitting fee and then you pay for whatever pics. They are along the same lines as Kiddie Kandids...

I used to work for that company, in Good sam actually taking the newborn photos. The pictures SHOULD have been offered in the hospital but there's only one girl working there right now and she never gets around to everyone.

The pics at home are more expensive. Free is only them coming to your home....they charges for the pictures are MUCH higher then what you would get in the hospital if taken.
