For those that Christened their babies....
Was there something special you got from someone, that you thought was just such a memorable gift. My best friends sons Christening is approaching and I got a bond, but I want to get a gift, something special too. I thought of a couple things I saw, would you have like these.....first was stock in Disney.....second was a baptism certificate holder....third a pewter cross for the wall...fourth idea was a picture frame...last idea was a music globe with the theme now I lay me down to sleep and the bears are praying. Any other ideas?? Which one do you like best?? Image Attachment(s):

I did the Disney stock idea for my nephew - so far he's up  in 13 years.
I'm not big on dust collectors so my favorite gift are things that increase in value (stock, bonds) or can be worn as an adult (charm bracelet).

I like the stock idea. We received some jewelry for our daughter which she really hasn't worn yet (I feel she's too young) but it'll be nice when she gets older.
A cousin bought me a nice porcelain christening picture frame that I love and a porcelain cross for her nursery.
