for those on Endometrin
so i just left my IUI andthe PA told me something i never heard before.
Since last cycle i was on endometrin for my progesterone, and came off after AF came. The PA told me that since i was only using the medication i would have to continue to us it this month and i should start on sunday, continue to use the endometrin until they test my beta.
Does this sound correct?
I never read anyone post about this- I feel i should confirm with my RE

My RE never told me that, but different offices have different protocols maybe? I was on endometrin for one month but then the next month my progesterone was normal so I didn't have to go on i again. Did they check your levels? When in doubt I always call my RE...and post on the board lol

Sorry I don't think i understand? You were off and then when you got your IUI they put you back on Endo?
I had my retreival and started using Endometrin. They said i would stay on until my first Beta. If it's positive I will remain on, if not, i will stop using it...

Interesting.....
RE called, since i was on the meds last cycle they stated it was a good idea to continue on it until the beta is tested

I was supposed to start Endometrin 4 days after my ET but ended up starting it a week after my BFP. I am 11w 2d and still on Endometrin.
Not sure if that answers your question, but I hope it helps.

I am confused because I was on it last month but they never told me that today. Should I call to ask? Maybe because I was borderline (9) they didn't think I needed to??
I go back next Friday to test prog so I am thinking I don't need to start back up yet. I did not enjoy it so I am in no rush to pay another $100 for it either!

My RE gave me a $50 coupon to use
but its still my least fav med
