for those of you on ZOFRAN 4MG

do you take it every 4 hours....it says you can...i just dotn want to take too much...is it safe for every 4 hours or is there a max. of pills for the day

Early on I was given Zofran 4 mg and my doctor told me every 4 hours or as I needed it.

Unfortunately, in my case the Zofran 4mg didn't work so he bumped it up to 8 mg. I was told the same thing with the 8 mg every 4 hours or needed.

Eventually I was sick enough where I was on the Zofran 8mg and Reglin at the same time.

I was on zofran for my entire pregnancy. I was so sick I couldn't even hold down water. I had to take zofran 4mg 4 times a day (every 4 hrs). As my pregnancy went on I was able to go longer in between pills.

My doctor assured me it was safe. It's a Class B medication (not too sure what that means though).

I gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

I had some fears too when I first started taking it. I went on the internet and started doing some research and I asked around to other people to took it. I think it's safe.

I am on it now. My nausea hasw come back. Idont be scared.t is safe for you and baby. I needed the 8mgs too but now back down to 4mg as needed every 6 hours.

Im now on the 8mg's 3 times a day....sometimes 4 times a day..

And I just got off the pump which was pumping me full of a LOT more then that.

So yes, its safe to take that much.
