For the ladies who dye their own hair

What brand of hair dye do you use? My roots are in desperate need of de-greying. The brand I used last time (which I can't recall right now) left my hair feeling very dry afterwards. I want one that won't change the texture of my hair to much.

I have a lot of grey hair, but I only use a wash out hair dye. I love it though! It's Clairol Natural Instincts. I use the Egyptian Plum color. I normally have brown hair. I LOVE the conditioner it comes with. It makes my hair sooooo soft. If you don't want a wash out dye Clairol does make permanent dyes that are probably the same quality. Good luck!

If it's just your roots buy that root touch up stuff from Clairol. It's easy to use and really does cover the gray

That's good - when I used it I think it was $8. It's really easy to use too!

I absolutely love L'oreal Colour Experte hair system. It's a little pricier than most dyes (Sells for about $20), but it's a great system of color and highlights and is surprisingly easy to do.

I used to dye my hair years ago with Feria... now I don't dye my hair anymore, but I do my moms for her with Feria. I love it!

I love Feria because the conditioner that come with it smells great, lasts a long time and kills knots!
I like the color also becasue it's not all even and one tone - there are little hints of other colors, so it makes it more natural
