For Suffolk County HomeOwners...
Just curious - what is your anuual rate for home owners insurance. I know it depends on different factors but it seems like certain towns cost more for the same stuff

our car insurance went up versus nassau (only a little) because more roads in suffolk have no lights.

$880 for a home that was $300K when we bought two years ago. Property size 90 x 110.

It is $740 to $800 I am not sure. That is with an inground pool on 78x172 in sayville. 1300 square feet

We have Kemper. We went to a local insurance broker (Edwards & Co) after looking at state farm and other insurance companies. They ended up getting us the best rates for the most coverage--we are insured through them for our 2 cars, house, umbrella and my e-ring & wedding band.
