For One More Day
Who watched the Oprah movie last night based on Mitch Albom's book?
It was so good. I loved it. I can't wait to read the book now.
So...if you had just one more day...who would you want to spend it with and what would you want to say to them? do with them?

Re: For One More Day
I taped it and plan on watching it tonight - I already read the book.
If I had one more day with someone, it would be either of my Grandmothers (I can't choose) and would just like to go over to their house and spend the day with them like I used to do when I was little.
Just like Oprah said - I wouldn't want to do anything extravagant - just have a normal day with them.

Re: For One More Day
I think my sister....
Even though I am 31 and she is 22, we have always been super close, and she is one of my BFF's. I love her, and can't imagine not talking to her just about every single day.
Side note... I'm very excited... She's coming to spend about 2 weeks here with me.... She's gonna be with me for the New Year, and hopefully my Bday.... = )

Re: For One More Day
I was disappointed with the movie.
I would love one more day with my dad. I would take a run with him in the AM, play some tennis and go for some lunch on the water and talk until time ran out. This brings tears to my eyes...cause I would do anything to have another day with him...really anything.

Re: For One More Day
I fell asleep within the 1st hour. I read the book but the movie didn't do anything for me.
As for who I would want to spend one more day with. I'm lucky enough that I have not lost anyone close to me.

Re: For One More Day
probably my grandpop... my dad's dad. he passed away from cancer when i was 6, so i hardly remember him. but we have a couple videos of him with us, and he just seemed like he LOVED his grandkids... even my mom says we all got "cheated" out of an amazing grandfather because we were all young when he passed. so i would love to spend a day with him now and see what i missed out on and catch up on the last 21 years....
