For Moms of Kids under 6 months
If you go to a "Mommy & Me" or music or my gym type of place do you feel it is worthwhile? What exactly does your child do there? Is it more for mommies to meet other mommies?
Pls fill me in, I'm clueless. Thank you.

My ds and i have been going to Gymboree since he was four months and we both love it. They do a lot of tummy time and we sing cute songs to them as they lay on their backs. Then, there is bubble time (which ds loves). But the real reason we joined was for me...i've met so many nice moms. We get together at least once a week outside of class.

DD and I have been going to Music Together since she was 3 months old. She LOVEs it. She seems to really watch the other kids, who are older. She laughs, she talks, she's interacting and getting used to music, rhythms and sounds. I think it's a great little program. Sure I meet other mommies, but I do feel it's helping her learn to some extent.

It's definitely for the Mommies, but it stimulates DD and she seems happier to be "doing something".
