For me, nesting = shopping

Maybe it's because my shower is happening a bit on the late side (35w) but I feel the incredible urge to buy baby stuff so I can set it up. My Mom was soooo mad at me for buying things off my own registry, but I can't help it. I just have the overwhelming urge to know that I have all the necessaries for the baby and to finish the nursery. I am having such trouble waiting to see what other people are going to buy! Anyone else feel this way?

I can't tell you how many times I've filled an online shopping cart and then just exited the site!!! I have a sickness, but I don't have the money to buy things, so I just step away!!!

LOL. I have TOTALLY done this too. I fill the cart and then think, UGHHHH someone else might be willing to buy this stuff for my shower!!! If I ever throw a shower for my sister or a friend I will definitely do it earlier than 35. On top of the fact that I'm already physical uncomfortable, the waiting is torture!

Mine is around the same time...34 weeks...I actually bought a onsie because I figured noone would get it for me and my BFF gave it to me the other day!!! So now i have two onsies that say, "My mommy plays hockey better than your daddy!" haha! She got me a bigger size so it should be fine!

I didn't register for a lot of clothing for this reason!! I go crazy ordering clothes from Carter's and The Children's Place! It is a sickness! I think this baby has more clothing and shoes than DH!

I have this problem with zulily! My SIL and I have to text each other every day to make sure we don't buy doubles (for her DD and my soon to be DS). It's REALLY bad! I even told her "After my shower I'm SCREWED because then I'll know what I have and I'll wait to buy everything!!
