For ladies who did cereal, how did you know when to increase feeding?
DS is 4.5mths and we just started rice cereal a week ago. Hes doing great with it. I started with 1 tbsp and he eats it all up with no problem. So I guess my question is, how long do I continue the 1tbsp? When do I know when to increase it? I also dont want to overfeed...

I added a TP every few days i think. I would keep feeding them till they didnt want any more and would increase it by 1/2 table spoons.

We started with 2 tablespoons to make sure she was ok with it, and after that as much as she wants - i just keep making more if she doesn't push the spoon away. As per ped, one can't overfeed... they'll stop/close mouth/turn away if they don't want anymore.
What did your ped say? I would go with ped's advice... we didn't start cereal until she was older than your DS is now, so ped "rules" might be a little different for a younger babe.
