Similarly priced homes in the town have taxes starting around 12,000 and going up well over 20,000... how can that be correct? That's less than we'll pay for our townhouse! Chat Icon

I think that property is deceiving. It's not a usable acre (does that make a difference?) the back yard is all retaining wall. I think it's also a rebuild after a fire - I remember seeing it (on MLS) about 2 years ago?

Would that make a difference in the taxes?

somethings seems fishy, that amount in taxes in centerport/harborfields school district can't be right.

never "saw" it but i know the houes has been on the market for over 2 years.

Are you sure it's still for sale, or did the realtor just keep it on MLS. I know a lot of realtors will sometimes keep sold homes on MLS for a while after they sell... though probably not that long!
