Food Drives In Huntington Area?
DH and I went into Stop & Shop on saturday and some lovely girl scouts asked us to buy food to donate to the needy and give it to them on our way out.
Well, we were in the for awhile and by the time we got out....they were gone.
Normally, we have one at my job but I am still out on leave and DH's office doesn't do one...anyone know where I can bring the items so they can be used by someone in need?

I know Gemport in Northport ALWAYS takes perishable food for a food pantry in Npt Village (I can't remember which of the churches it's associated with).

Most churches have outreach programs that feed the needy. You can drop it there.
