food aversions
I am only about 5-6 weeks and cannot believe the food aversions since yesterday there is a long list of food I cannot think of or have.. mostly my normal favorites..I've always been a big eater. This is catching me off guard- I am kinda getting a kick outta it- I am sure I will be sick of it if it continues though... Is it too early for food aversions. I am not very nauseous or throwing up, just a bit queasy.

Re: food aversions
It is not too early for food aversions. they are caused from the rise in progesterone in your body. I would have food aversions and be nauseous from the moment the dr's gave me supplements prior to my ivf.
good luck

Re: food aversions
Not too early at all.. I gave up chicken from week 5 to like week 10 or 11.. Since that's like one of my only form of protien.. I started eating chicken wings.. so far so good.

Re: food aversions
At 7 weeks I lost interest in chicken/pork/turkey/"white meat" (and their col cut counter parts) --- AKA "flesh meats" (so says "What to eat when you're expecting"), as well as coffee. But I still enjoy any of the above named meats in ground form like in meatballs or something. And I still like espresso based drinks from Starbucks! These things never made me nauseous, just have no interest in them at all. It's like they're not even edible/food. I can't wait until things are back to normal, because I really miss my morning cup of coffee and a nice chicken cutlet every now and then!
