Food adversions
I eat salad for lunch everyday. I took one look at it today and threw up. Now I have no clue what to eat. Going out to lunch everyday is too expensive.

Re: Food adversions
I couldn't think about eating salads or veggies for most of my first tri. I survived on carbs. Bagels, pb&j, pasta, etc. Not the healthiest but the only thing I could stomach.
I also ate a lot of soup which is healthier...with a roll usually.

It didn't have dressing on it. It was a bare salad and I just looking at it made me sick. I'll stay away this week and try again next.

Food adversions
Same thing happened to me! I eat veggies every single day, but for some reason in my 1st trimester. I couldn't stomach any vegetables...it was crazy!
I also ate alot of carbs, which isn't the greatest but at least it was better than nothing lol

Re: Food adversions
Same here. I was craving salads and the 2 times i gave in , it was so disgusting, tasted so odd and couldnt eat it. Worst thing was in the very begining i was dying for Riciotta cheese, no idea why- i made my hubby get a tub of it with some italian bread ::::barf:::: Now i have to walk through the dairy aisle holding my breath , even the thought or sight of riciotta cheese and Im heaving. Cant do chicken or eggs either. So yah, im basicly living off of carbs. Praying it eases up in the 2nd trimester.

Food adversions
I had the same exact problem early on. I also used to eat a salad every day for lunch and by about 7-8 weeks, lettuce and strong tasting vegetables made me puke. I started making extra food at dinner the night before so I could take leftovers, or I would make hummus and cheese sandwiches on sandwich thins, so I wasn't too overloaded with carbs. I also found I could stomach carrots, so I would eat carrots to get some veggies, but it was very difficult to eat healthy at the beginning! I'm 25 weeks now and while spring mix is still a little difficult, I can eat lighter-tasting lettuces (like romaine and iceberg), so I've been able to eat salads again for lunch. It will get better!
