Follie question
I am on CD10 today, 100 mg of clomid, went in for u/s, only one follie measuring 13mm on one side, on the other side- a few under 10mm ( RE did not sound too optimistic about those). I am upset. Last cycle I was on 50mg of clomid and at this point had 2 follies measuring 12mm and 14mm ( only one that was 14 mm made it). How come I have a better response on lower dose? Are there any chances this one little guy who is at 13mm makes it?

Re: Follie question
every cycle is different. having one good follie on clomid is a fine response. why would think a 13mm wouldnt make it if your 14mm last time made it?? the smaller one last time didnt make it cause your body selected one to mature, which is a normal process. thats what happens to people normally without clomid, its why most people dont end up with fraternal twins. your response to clomid seems good to me if you ended up having mature follies last time theres no reason to think you wont this time. for me i never had any mature follies on clomid and went right to injectables.
good luck!

Re: Follie question
I agree with everything flower said !
On a side note, have you discussed with your RE how many clomid cycles he feels is safe to do? Clomid is suspected of affecting your uterine lining. I never had issues with my lining till after 4 medicated IUI cycles, so when it came time to do IVF, my lining had issues getting to where it needed to be (at least 10mm at time of trigger) So just as a heads up talk to your Doctor about this!

Re: Follie question
He is doing 3 cycles of the same thing and then moving to the next thing. Sounds pretty robotic to me. if this is not my cycle, I am thinking of moving on to injectibles.

LOL why do i feel like ive known you longer than 3 cycles !
Sounds like a good plan, injectibles raise your chances a LOT !!! and trust me after the first few shots you will be an expert, they are sooooo teeeny tiny!
