Flynn O'Hara School Uniform - Plainview
Has anyone been to this location to buy school uniforms?
I need to purchase DS's uniform for Sept and would rather go to the location than buy online. I purchased online last year and the sizing was so off on everything I ordered that I ended up having to go to the location in the Atlas Mall in Queens and it was just horrible.
The line was out the door to register what school you were purchasing for. Then there was another line to pick out the actual pieces you wanted, THEN you had to wait while they silk screened the items with the school logo onto them and FINALLY a line to pay!
I mean it was ridiculous. I wanted to see if all their locations were like this one. This one services pretty much all the catholic schools in the BK/Queens dioceses from elementary to HS. Curious if the one in Plainview was just as crazy

I've been there I have one at Holy Trinity HS and St chris. I have to go sometime next week and not looking forward to it.

I would call first and make sure they can silk screen for your school.
FWIW I had the same issue. Ordered online and sizing was all over the place. Went to Atlas mall ( I loathe) last Thursday morning about an hour after they opened and no line at all. I was in and out ( with a bunch of exchanges and a few new purchase) in under 20 minutes.
Obviously the closer you get to school starting the worse it gets. I would go ASAP.

Go now and first thing in the morning. Do not go on a Saturday. Each day closer to school starting is one more day it will be more crowded. Everyone waits until the last minute.

I just went to atlas this morning. I went in right away got my clothes and paid. I had to wait 20 min for them to silkscreen the gym uniform. I think it depends time of day you go.

we went saturday afternoon last weekend - no problem. they gave us samples to try on... was good cause some of my guesses were off.. They printed some of the logo's while we were there.

I took DD to Atlas Mall in the summer, had her try on/judged the correct size and then ordered online. I went during the day, during the week and there wasn't anyone there.

Just to let you know, I saw uniforms in target today. Don't know what you need for J but if it's just khakis and polos, you might have luck there. Old Navy might have stuff, too.

I can probably get away with just navy blue sweats from Target or Old Navy, but the shirts have to be from the uniform store since they require the school name on them.
