Flying with infant... window or aisle seat??? Booking flight now!

I'm thinking window seat is better to have something to lean against, but aisle would also be good in case I need to get up with her more than once. WDYT???

It's only FL to NY... 2.5 hrs.

I usually pick a window seat b/c I hate flying and like to look out the window... but not sure what's better with DD. She'll be 4 1/2 months old.

Just the 2 of you or with DH? When we took Ryan to FL we did window and aisle and they let us bring the carseat on and we had him in the middle of us.

Just me and DD on the way there (DH is meeting us a few days later). I'm keeping her on my lap.

i liked the window because there was something to rest on, and DD LOVED looking out the window.

I prefer the aisle...it allows her to look around & see people while still being able to see out the window and if we need to get up, it's just easier.

i booked window and isle for DH and I. Taking DS only lap, but I paid jetblue for extra leg room. The rep said the person on the isle wouldn't have to get up to let me out.

we always did the aisle, but honestly, i never needed it...dd always slept the whole way...one time a woman several rows back came up to me and said "oh my god, it is a real baby, i thought she was a doll...she was so good!" Chat Icon

On SouthWest, infant carriers have to be in the window seat for safety reasons.

Aisle, easier to get up if you need to change her.

For us, window--it gave me more privacy when I nursed him during takeoff and landing
