Flutters Finally--I think
I was laying in bed yesterday, my third day in bed with horrible cold/bacterial infection, and I *think* I felt flutters for the first time. It was definitely a different feeling than the normal digestive movements, and it was just in one spot. It went on for a few minutes, then happened again a few minutes later. I could definitely feel it!! I had DH put his hand where I was feeling it and press down, he said he *thinks* he felt something...is that possible that he felt the flutters?

It is possible, but I know my husband couldnt feel it until I was pretty much able to see it from the outside. But the baby always stopped when he tried. Feels kinda like a muscle spasm, like when your eyelid twitches. At least thats what it always remided me of at first!

So cool. This is what it felt like yesterday to me, it was amazing! Did you feel them every day after the first time, or sporadically? And more laying down in bed or while you're doing stuff? Thanks

I keep laughing because the baby will get going and as SOON as DH puts his hand on my belly... s/he stops!!
I feel bad... but it is hilarious.

How exciting. I am not sure if he could feel it, but I am sure what you are feeling is flutters. My husband felt the baby move about a week and a half ago, and then yesterday we were able to see the baby moving. It was so cool. Enjoy every moment!!!!

Re: Flutters Finally--I think
I'm 19 weeks and my DH felt it the baby move for the first time this past weekend. It's usually in 2 spots and he's most active at night and the late morning. Such a cool feeling!

I'm 19 weeks too, and it was the best feeling yesterday! I keep thinking I feel them today too, but it may be digestion...I'm back at work and not laying flat, so it's a different feeling

Re: Flutters Finally--I think
Now that you have felt it for the first time it will become more and more frequent.
