flu shot and egg allergy

I know DS can't have the regular flu shot because of his egg allergy. Does anyone know if this applies to the H1N1 too?

Even for the regular flu shot, did you ask? My son has an egg allergy but because he had a flu shot just a few weeks before his first egg reaction and because they don't think he has an anaphylactic allergy, he can get the flu shot but only at the allergists office and only if we wait there for 1/2 hour. I doubt we are interested in the swine flu shot for him.

yep, i asked about the regular flu shot and the ped said no due to his egg allergy.

we weren't really planning on getting him either flu shot anyway....... but now I'm having second thoughts and wondering if he can even get the h1n1 at all.... i never even asked the ped about this since we didn't plan on getting him the shot.
