flu shot - daycare
Is it a requirement to have your child vaccinated when on daycare? DD is 15 mos. and not thrilled about having to give her this vaccine.
Anyone have a child in daycare and not get them vaccinated? TIA

At our daycare its not required but I give it to my kids anyway since I would rather not take the chance of them getting the flu.

At our school, it is not required, but it is encouraged. Our family gets it every year- not worth the risk not getting it IMO.

Not required but daycare is such a hot bed of disease that there is no way I wouldn't give it to her.
I don't get it myself but with daycare you can never be too safe.

Not required, but I will be getting it for DD since someone is always sick at daycare, and I work at a preschool, so she's at double risk! I will be getting it too. I never did before I was pregnant, but I worry too much about her getting it.

not required but we got for my son, and I was glad I did cause his old daycare got alot of cases posted on the door.
