Florida Vacation Recommendations (not Orlando)
Looking to fly down to Florida for spring break. We do not want to go to Orlando or do any theme parks on this trip as we just went to Disney a few weeks ago.
Can you recommend some places in Florida?
We have never been to Key West or western Florida. Only been to Miami (pre-kids) and Orlando.

Clearwater Beach or St. Pete Beach are beautiful. Family friendly and beautiful beaches. We also love the Marriott Vacation Club on Singer Island (West Palm). Family friendly with lots of organized activities.

Look into Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater. Geared towards families and a nice hotel.

Ana Maria Island.
We just went there in Sept with my parents and my DS and my nephew. Water is amazing and no big waves so the kids don't have to worry about be knocked over.

This place. Cute clean. 2 bedroom 1/2 block to the beach and walking to bars and restaurants and a pool!

No fly into Sarasota/Bradenton. We met my parents there so we had their car but you can rent a car.....Jet Blue flys there out of JFK and LGA. and then its only like 20mins to Ana Maria. Tampa isn't far but its more like an hour or so and the Sarasota airport is tiny so you can get in and out quick.

LOVE Anna Maria island - we have been twice to bradenton beach ..flew into tampa, rented a car...love it..we also stayed over the bridge at ...I think Siesta Key - cute too but prefer the bradenton, holmes, longboat key area.

It's a very nice hotel, we checked it out last time we went, and Clearwater Beach is SO nice! Crystal clear water and so clean!
