Florida in Jan?
Dh and I are looking to getaway for 4 days in Jan for our 5th yr Anniversary. We are thinking of going to Florida either Sanibel Island or St Petes beach. Do you think it will be warm enough to swim, lay on the beach? Or will it be uncomfortable and cold? Should we just go to the carribean instead?

Cold. Well, not cold, but not beachy. It's sweatshirt weather. I'd do the Carribean.

The weather isn't consistent then and it's more likely to be too cold for the beach.
I would look into the Southern Caribbean - like Aruba or Barbados.

Florida in Jan?
I went to Sanible Is in Jan a few years ago. It was definitelt not swimming weather. During the day, I was mostly OK with a skirt/shorts and t-shirt. I was able to lay out a little, and got some color, but again, in shorts and T, not a bathing suit.
