Flex Spending
Those of you who use flex spending at work, how much do you deduct?
Day Care? Medical?

Re: Flex Spending
I do flex spending. I deduct $4,500 annually and my company contributes $500.
I get paid bi-weekly so my deduction in $181 a pay check.
We use it towards day care

Re: Flex Spending
DH's job just started offering it, so we signed up for the maximum medical contribution of $1000.
The max for childcare was $5000 but right now I am a WAHM so we don't have daycare expenses. I was however surprised to read in the paperwork that you can use the flex childcare to pay a housekeeper who also watches the child(ren).

Re: Flex Spending
I think the max we could deduct for medical was $2500, so we went to the limit for this year since we'll have hospital bills for the new baby.
