Fixing wood floors
Is there anything that can be done to wood floors that have gashes in it from furniture? I need to fill those gashes. It's driving me crazy.

Re: Fixing wood floors
does it go into the wood or is it superficial?
when we had our floors redone, we had a few spots that had gashes into the wood and they were able to fill them and poly over it. i can tell it's filled but probably because i know it's there. if they are too big, you will need to replace the board.
if it's superficial and just in the poly, you can easily fix that yourself.

Re: Fixing wood floors
when we had ours done there were alot of spaces, the sanded them and put a filler coat on the fill in most of the spaces, then sanded, stained and poly'd
