Fisher Price: Papasan Swing - BRU Feedback
Today I picked up some things and wanted to get the Little Lamb Swing. I asked the Registry Consultant and she said it was a horrible swing. She claims over 75% of parents who purchased it return because it makes squeaky sounds pretty much soon after they use it. Many parents complained about the swing not "swinging" properly after a few uses.
HTH... I certainly took it off my registry and will get another swing. There was a huge sale and lots of things marked down. I took advantage and used lots of BBB coupons...

I registered for the Papsan My Little Lamb swing after reading the reviews on Amazon.com. It got 4 & 1/2 STARS out of 5...and you can read lots of reviews from parents who have bought the swing...its also cheaper on the Amazon website...so I put it on my Amazon regisrty instead of my BRU registry.

I have it and love it! I used it all the time with DS and plan to use it again this time. You really can't know until you purchase it yourself.

I'm surprised! Everyone seems to love the My Little Lamb swing, and I thought that this was just the "newer" version of that one. I liked that it had an AC adater vs having to change the batteries all the time. I wonder if I should take it off my registry?

I just bought the My Little Lamb swing at the Target clearance this weekend. I have 3 friends that have it and love it. 2 out of 3 had other swings that their babies did not like, so they bought this one and loved it. As another poster wrote, I think you have to try it yourself, especially since there are so many good reviews for it.

I have it and DS#1 HATED being in it. I seriously think we used it maybe 5 times when he got a little older. The squeaky sounds never bothered me and it always swung correctly, but DS just didn't like it.
I kept it though and will see if #2 likes it!
ETA: I know many people swore by it!

BTDT crashing.
We have the Little Lamb Papasan and that thing was incredible! It never made a noise for us. DD loved it and spent the first four months plus in it. She still likes it even though I really have to stop using it.
My only gripe is that you go through batteries like water. We are getting rechargeables for #2!

When did it come out with an AC adaptor? Ugh, why couldn't they figure this out a year ago?

We have it and I have the admit the noise is pretty obnoxious. Our baby is only a month old though so I;m not sure she weighs enough--I've heard once they weigh more, the noise isn't as bad. She loves the swing regardless though!

I agree! DD LOVED LOVED LOVED her little lamb swing. it was so soft and comfy for her too. we had no problems with it and will be using it again for the next baby. the only thing i would recommend is that since it's not a swing you can plug in, buy yourself some rechargeable batteries.

I think I confused myself and everyone else lol. Reviews that I've read seem to be great about the Little Lamb swing, thats the one with batteries.
Now a new version came out of the same swing, the Snug-a-Bunny. This is the swing I registered for, and this is the one with the AC adapter.
I thought the OP meant that people were complaining about the new Snug-a-bunny swing, but hopefully this upgraded version will solve all the issues people seemed to have with the Little Lamb. Sorry for the confusion!!
