Fish Oil for kids?
I was told by a honopathic that deals with children to start mt DD on fish oil.
He said it really helps a child's brain function and in school. It also helps behavior???
Anyone do this? Is it safe?
Thanks

Re: Fish Oil for kids?
Yes, fish oil is wonderful. And not harmful, as a matter of fact, everyone can benefit from it.
If you do start, get only high quality fish oil, not any old over the counter sold in CVS or whatever.
I use Carlson's for Kids
People also use Nordic Naturals.
Both can be found in most health food stores and maybe Vitamin Shoppe. I get the Carlson's in Fairway, I think they also sell it at Whole Foods.

Re: Fish Oil for kids?
We will start DS on fish oil once he starts 2, which is very soon. We are using Nordic Naturals. Fish oil is very important and not many people know that they should take supplement.

I gave dd Nordic naturals starting at about 2.5 years old. She had a speech delay, and I swear that giving her those, along with the ST she was getting helped her tremendously!! She exploded with words about a month after starting them.
