Fish oil

I am currently taking a pre-natal vitamin with DHA. I also take vitamin C, calcium + D and a fish oil. I'm starting IVF in 2 weeks. I just read in my IVF book from my RE to tell the dr if you take fish oil. I had it written on my paperwork when I met with him, but he didn't say anything about it.

Does anyone know if I shouldn't be taking the fish oil b/c I'm also taking the DHA? I will ask him at my next appt but figured someone on here might have some insight.

I am not a Dr so don't follow this if one suggested otherwise, but this seems like way too many vitamins.

I *think* that fish oil is like a more potent version of DHA. I take plant based DHA when pregnant. You definitely should call ur doctor and ask.

Dr b has me on 4000mg of omega3 per day in addition to my prenatal with dha

You need to tell your Dr that you are taking fish oil because it is a blood thinner. If you are for instance having a surgical proceeding..they will need to know.

honestly, the 2 pregnancies I had that stuck, one from IUI and the other on our own, was when I was taking Omega369. I'm a huge believer that it can have a big impact!
