First trimester screening tomorrow

I have my first trimester screening tomorrow with Dr. Kofinas. What should I expect? How long for results?

i think you are talking about the 12 week nt scan?
if so, its sonogram (not internal) and a prick of blood from your finger

they look at hte baby and check for certain markers for down and trisomy18. they measure something around the babys neck, they look for a nasal bone, they check the hands and feet and a few other things

basically its just time for you to see your LO on screen looking like a baby
enjoy it!

and if your lucky - they may even be able to give you the gender
