First tri girls...
how do you tell if it's the beginning of a little belly - or just fat?
I haven't been to the gym as much since finding out as I had been before, and I seem to have developed a penchant for Cool Ranch Doritos...so I'm just not sure. Sometimes it feels like it might be the very beginning of a baby bump because it's kind of hard, not soft as if I were to gain weight.
Anyone?

Re: First tri girls...
For me, it feels like when you are getting your period and/or the first fews of your period when you have that bloat.

Re: First tri girls...
I've been wondering the same thing. I'm 8 weeks, and while i know it is most definitely not baby...I definitely have more of a bump going on in my lower stomach than i had before. It also becomes larger in the afternoon. My pants somewhat fit in the morning and by the afternoon I have my pants unbuttoned, which leads me to believe that it is still just boat.

Re: First tri girls...
My lovely DH asked me if I was showing in BRU on Saturday, I hit him and said it was just fat.

Re: First tri girls...
So glad you wrote this. I am 8 Weeks and I am not aloud to work out. I also can't do much of anything. My progestrone is very low and I am on progestrone.
I am definitely eating a little more but my clothes are busting off of me. Even the breast area and I can't zip my pants.
I was getting nervous I would end up being huge. LOL

Re: First tri girls...
I am going to be 12 weeks this week and I def. have a baby bump starting to show. Its so exciting yet upsetting that my work pants are all tight. I wish I could live in sweats!

Re: First tri girls...
I am five weeks today and totally bloated already. DH said something the yesterday about my lower abdomen. I am normally flat as a board in my stomach and now right under my belly button pops out slightly. I try to suck it in, but it does not help. I have a feeling i may be one of those that show early.

Re: First tri girls...
I'm 5 weeks and I really don't see a change in my tummy or the fit of my clothing. The only time I see some bloat is after I eat.

Re: First tri girls...
I'm 8 weeks and I definately FEEL bloated, but my clothes fit just fine. I just feel pudgy and gross. I can suck everyhting in still so I am sure it isn't a baby bump. They say the baby doesn't move out from behind the pelvic bone until 12 weeks so I have a month before what I am seeing will actually be baby!!
