First sono!
We are just back from our first sonogram. I am exactly 6 weeks today. We are so happy that we saw the heartbeat, sac, yolk sac, etc., everything that should be there.
I was surprised that the CRL was only 3 mm though, at 6 w 3 days my DS was 6.5 mm. If you had a sono around this point, how big was your LO? I know I'm being neurotic, b/c I always have to find something to worry about!

Hooray! I am so happy to hear this. They use the crl to determine how far along you are, right? So if the measurent didn't jive with how far along you should be they would have told you!

I compared my sono at 6w2d this time around to my sono with DD at 6w2d. DD measured at .550mm(?) and this one is measuring .531mm(?). DD heartbeat was 120, this one is 110. Not quite sure what CRL is.

You know, I have no idea what the baby was measuring at that time. I just remember that there was a HB and everything else just went away!  Congrats on a great 1st sono!!!

I know, you'd think that would've been enough good news for me! My doctor wasn't concerned. He said the length was equivalent to 5 weeks 6 days, only one day behind where I believe I am. It just seems so off from where DS was at right around this point.
I need to relax I know, or it'll be a really long 9 months! And truly, we are so grateful we saw a heartbeat!
