first period question

i am almost 12 weeks pp

before i never had a normal body in terms of periods etc..never got a period regularly if i even got one so nothing really to compare and i hear your body can change after pregnancy

at 6 weeks pp i had heavy bleeding,no cramping just bleeding for a day and a half..i thought it could be too early for my period,i am not bf,but i was not sure

i asked doc at checkup he said it could my period,nurse told me it was prob not so not sure who is right

at 11 weeks pp same thing..i day of bleeding,not really heavy this time and then nothing

is this my new period? i was expecting heavy heavy flow and cramps etc?

or could it still be coming

Not sure, but from my experience, at 6 weeks PP i had heavy bleeding for a day. My doc said it was my period (even though I was breastfeeding). But then I didn't get my full blown period till almost 3 months later. Now my periods are very heavy and long (5days). Before I gave birth they were 3 days max and not heavy.
I think the bleeding at 6 weeks was still pos partum bleeding. Maybe that's whats going on with you also.
