First Pair of Sneakers
My daughter is 11 months and is now taking steps a few times a day. Should I get her sneakers now or wait until she is fully walking? Do you reccomend I go to stride rite or can I get her Nikes?

First Pair of Sneakers
Personally I would go to stride rite and get her a pair of their Step 2 shoes. They are thin, soft soles that still let the feet bend and flex almost ad if they weren't wearing shoes. I had them for ds and thought they were great. He only wore them when we were out though. around the house i let him go barefot (or just wearing socks) since that is better for the foot development.
I would not go straight to any super hard soled shoe. As I was told by the ped, and by doing my own research, the foot muscles are developing and if they aren't allowed to bend and flex naturally they can't develop correctly which could lead to issues later on in life.
