First Day of School
Any other moms sending their child off to school for the very first time this week?
DS starts Nursery on Friday and I woke up this morning and started crying.
It will be the first time DS has ever been by himself with someone other than DH, myself, MIL, my mom or my sister.
I'm freaking out about leaving him with the teacher. I told DH I'm not leaving the parking lot of the school. I'm going to sit there until the day is through.
I just want to be there to protect him from any mean kids or to comfort him when he cries.
Gahhhh this is going to be so hard for ME!!!!

This was me last year... and Yes... for the first week I never left the lobby/outside area. 2nd week I sat in lot for like 15 mins, then 30 mins, then 1 hour lol I still all year long went in an peeked in on her once in a while lol
Like you I never left her with ANYONE except my mother... so it was really hard for me. Especially that she just ran in and never looked back lol
This year... I am still panicing and I am literally having a baby the first day of her school (on Monday) so I am having my mother bring her and stay there for the week hahaha lmao

Dd starts nursery school on Monday. And like you, she has only stayed with family. I am so freaked out about everything and anything. I have a million scenarios running through my head Even if she is fine, I am not sure I am going to make it!!!

Re: First Day of School
DD starts the 3 year old program at a school she's gone to (one morning a week) since 18 months. The parents/caregivers used to have to stay in the school, but now we are told to leave so THAT will be hard, plus it's 3 mornings a week rather than 1 now. Other than that she knows the place and the teachers and did a separation camp over the summer so she's ready and excited!
