First Birthday Party Entertainment
Who did you use? What did you have?
I am leaning towards some sort of music but I am having trouble finding someone.
I am open to all ideas and suggestions.

Gymboree on the go will do parties at your location...or did you ever go to Baby Boogie at the library? It is all music/movement with different props for each song. There woman is who runs that program is awesome lady who really engages the kids and she does birthday parties as well.

Why not try Music Together? They did such a great job for Samantha's party! I'd totally do that too...but I still have no idea what I'm going to do for Riley's bday.

I'll be the entertainment!  I plan on saving the big guns for when he gets older and can participate more. As of now, we're having a small family party so for his 8 cousins, I'll make a pin the tail on the sock monkey and a sock monkey bean bag toss, sock monkey pinata and such! 
ETA: Oh... I meant to vouch for the Baby Boogie lady! I went once to our library (I think she makes the rounds so she's only here once every few months) and DS slept through the whole class with all the banging and drumming but it was so much fun! Kids of all ages were enjoying it. I cannot wait for her to come back!

Not sure if this is what you're considering, but we're having a party at a hall and hiring a DJ and a "party helper". The helper will do face painting and balloon animals with the kids. We hired them from That's Entertainment. We used them for Marron's first birthday party and were happy so we're doing the same for Erin.
For Marron's second birthday, we had it in the yard. The company we used to rent tables and chairs also rented us a sound system and we just played CDs. It was nice though because the speakers were powerful enough to fill the backyard with music.
