first birthday party

I'm not sure what to do for DDs first birthday. DH definitely wants a lot of family there. Her Bday is in Oct so it's not like we'd have a BBQ in the back yard. I was thinking of KOC with buffet etc... any other ideas for locations?

Bumping. I also have an October DD. I wish we could do something at home, but we don't have the space.

Childrens museum or aquariam... koc are great because whateva theme yiu decide you can decorate like crazy and the kids have space to run around and play.
Also a catering hall or private room in a restaurant where again the kids have space to run around.

we are having DS bday party at Jackie Reilly's. even though its in august and warm out, there is no way I can have 90 people at my house. the prices were reasonable. good luck!

we had DS's 1st birthday at the American Legion in Wantagh, which was also in Oct. I called a bunch of restaurants and halls and in the end this was the best option for us!

I have been to 2 October 1st birthday parties at parks. Both were at Cedar Creek in Wantagh. It was nice out on both occasions and it was fun.

I've had late October party's outside and the weather was near 70s and sunny. I had a farm petting zoo theme one and a Halloween costume theme one too wit pumpkin picking, fall crafts...real fun had a tent and catered food in.
