first birthday menu question
Ds's party is Saturday and we are finalizing everything. We are having it at a pavilion on the beach, we have the use of grills. Our menu for adults includes hamburgers, turkey burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, salads (potato, pasta, cole slaw, and a green salad), and sausage and peppers. There will be about 60 adults at the party and 10 kids. DH suggested getting a couple of pizza pies for the kids. I just assumed most kids would like hamburgers and hot dogs, but my kid is only 12 months so what do I know? Would you get the pizza for the kids? Also, for dessert we obviously have the cake and coffee. But should we also have cookies, pastries, cannolis, etc? The cake is enough to feed everyone, I just don't want people who may not like cake to have nothing to eat with their coffee. What did you do? TIA!

I don't think you need pizza either. I think most kids would something off your menu.
I would get more desserts also. Have fun!

Re: first birthday menu question
I dont think you need pizza or extra dessert. Most parties I go to just have cake.

Re: first birthday menu question
I don't think you need the pizza. You might want to get a fruit platter for dessert since some people don't like to eat sweets. But otherwise I wouldn't get more cookies and stuff.

Re: first birthday menu question
Thanks! I think we will skip the pizza and add a fruit platter for dessert.

I say no for the pizza. But I would get a fruit platter and a cookie tray for desserts.

ITA. I might add chicken nuggests for the kids, but not necessary - just might make it easier.

Re: first birthday menu question
Your menu is similar to ours and we're not planning on anything separate for the kids. I would probably have some extra desserts available. Maybe even something like a fruit salad for anyone looking for a healthier option.
