First beta today Update with 2nd beta
I had my first beta this morning and just got a phone call its positive, but its only at 80. I was at 278 with my dd at 14dpo, I am afraid because it so low. Does it sound too low to result in a healthy pregnancy?
Update:
Second beta was over 200, so I am thrilled!! I go Oct 11, for my first sono.

The number doesn't matter - just that's it doubling. My 1st beta with my DD was 89 and everything was fine.

Congrats!!
The first beta does matter but what matters most is the doubling....
As long as your beta is over 50 at 14DPO, you are fine!!

i wouldnt worry about the number... i had really high betas for my pregnancy in april and that, obvioulsy, didnt work out... dont get worked up over #'s until you get the 2nd one back!!!!!

My sister had a # in the 30s at that point and she is now 31 weeks. So don't read to much into the number....Just look to see if they are doubling.

No need to panic and here is why you are looking for that 80 to double. When you go back in a day or two that number should double. If it drops then its a problem but as long as it doubles which it should you are good :)

With my first pregnancy that was ONE baby, my first beta was 12dpo and 102.
My first beta with the triplets was 64 at 9dp3dt (12dpo)
You really can't compare!!!  Congratulations! All that matters is that it doubles in a couple of days.

I was 78 and 84 with my  &  ...That # is just fine !!!! Anything over 50 is good from what I have been told ...Congratulations !!!
