I like the winter onederland bc I dont think he would recognize a character birthday or anything yet. He loves mickey mouse but I'm thinking that for his 2nd birthday
I found a lot of winter things at party city online and oriental trading. Lots of snowflakes, penguins, snowmen, polar bears are cute.
I'm gonna do a hot chocolate bar with lots of toppings, cinnamon sticks, marshmellows, white chocolate, candycanes (I think I can find blue & white ones), white choclolate covered pretzels, snowflake shaped cake. Here are some pics I'm thinking:

Re: First B-Day for Boys...Winter Onederland?
We did it for DS and it was a huge hit. Everyone was talking about how great it was. I did silver branches with white and blue glitter snowflakes in tall vases on some table and silver, baby blue and white metallic balloons on the other tables. For favors we did snowman sippy cups (that I found at target) filled with hershey kisses. His cake was white with silver and baby blue snowflakes. I have no idea how to post pics or else I would do that. FM me if you need ideas because I really went overboard with it.

I did this last year for my twins - boy and girl. I thought it was a great gender neutral theme! The invites were blue and white with snowflakes, and I used those colors for the cups, plates etc. DS wore a fairisle sweater and jeans.
