first anniversary gifts for DH
Please help me.... I know it's paper.... I want to do something creative.... He's a computer programmer, not really into sports so I can't do tickets... We just bought a house and are strapped for cash so I can't really do something elaborate and I already told him I don't want anything.... but I know he won't listen and then I'll feel bad if I don't get him something - lol --- so I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share what they gave their DH for their 1st anniversaries? I'm sure you'd help a lot of girls out! TIA! :)

Someone did something cute on here by putting in something in the newsPAPER about their anniversary. I thought that was VERY creative.

My DH really likes antique maps, so I found this map of Sea Cliff (we were married at Sans Souci) from 1873.
If he's into that suff, there are reproduction of maps that aren't that expensive. You can get one maybe from where you live or where you went on your honeymoon or where you met.

You cna do paper or a clock. Paper is traditionl. Clock is modern.
So, you could buy him tickets to a sporting event - I did this.
Or buy him a nice watch, or something.

My wife made me a scrap book of things from the time we met up to our honeymoon. It was very sweet & the fact that she made it herself is very special. I love her deeply.
She is a special person. Apparently very thoughtful too.

How about a video? I made a video for my family that was a compilation of pictures set to music. You can give him a card with it to satisfy the "paper" portion.

A couple of years a go I started a scrapbook as a gift to him, dedicated to us and told him I couldn't wait to fill the rest of the pages. He loved it.
I gave him tickets to a UFC style fight (he doesn't like sports either). Maybe concert tickets??? I also think that another more modern "whatchamacallit" in addition to paper is a clock sorta thing. So maybe a watch????
