First acupuncture appointment

I just booked my first acupuncture appointment with Andrew Kaplan in RVC.

What should I expect at my first appointment? I'm kind of excited. I feel like I'm doing something that could potentially really make a difference in my next cycle.

(They only retrieved 6 eggs last cycle - I hope this helps!)

Andy is great!! At the first appointment he will sit and talk to you about your infertility history and go over what acupuncture is like, etc. and what you can expect. He might give you some stuff to read about the benefits of doing it in conjunction with fertility treatments.

Then you go in and you get the acupuncture.. he'll check on you when you're halfway through which is like 15 mins in ..


I actually went someplace else for acupuncture before going to Andy and I hated it. Andy changed my perspective though, I love going to my sessions, I was actually there today!! It's so relaxing.. I fall asleep half the time.

Yay, I'm pretty excited. I hope this helps! I told him I read about him on LIF and he said that he is "humbled" by the way the women on here speak about him. He seemed very nice.

Ohh yea he likes when you tell him how we rave about him on the board.. I tell him we have GTGs too!!
