Re: first 8-12 weeks question
really it's just listen to what your body tells you. there are no restrictions about working too many hours at any time during pregnancy, as a matter of fact you're supposed to keep up with your normal activity, but as much as your body allows. In the beginning you're going to be extremely tired, that usually lasts through the first trimester. I'd come home from work and pass out after dinner, so just follow your body's lead and rest when you can.

Thanks for answering! I guess that is what I am most worried about is the whole being more tired than normal thing. Its bad enough I am usually exhausted after working 12-16 hr days I couldn't imagine adding on to that pregnancy!

It depends on your pregnancy but there won't be any restrictions from your doctor as to how much you can work.
I am always exhausted in the first trimester, and also get very sick - but everyone is different. I know girls who felt great their first tri!

Re: first 8-12 weeks question
That was my normal workload during the first trimester - which is why I didn't even know I was pg. My only symptom was fatigue and duh I was working tons of hours...
I didn't have any problems working that many hours besides conking out the minute I got home. GL!

Re: first 8-12 weeks question
Yeah for me I was EXHAUSTED but did sometimes do days that long but was miserable. Unless it's all heavy lifting or high impact aerobics you shouldn't have medical restrictions but it def might be hard on the body. . but then again everyone is different. .

With DD I barely could stay awake and I was working normal hours, but everyone is different, I had no MS but many ppl do it's really how your body reacts and listening to it
