Fireplace Help???
Who do I call in regards to getting a fireplace refaced.?
The fireplace wall is all brick and I'd like to cover up the wall with sheetrock ( I mdesperately need wall space) and redo the fireplace to create a mantle.
Would this be a masonry company or a regular firplace company?

I think a regular handyman would be able to do that....
I can tell you who did our fp - he didn't have to remove anything but he sheetrocked, then tiled and built us a mantle.
G-Man Group - the guy who we used is named Joe. (631) 926-7501
I think his prices went way up though, we had to call him back for something and he charged us a lot more than he initially did, but it's worth a shot to call him.
