In Kismet, Surf's Out is really nice - I think I like this one the best In Ocean Beach, Maguire's is okay as is Matthew's and The Mermaid. I think you can get food at Albatross too but I'm not sure how it is. It's been a while.
Tequila Jack's is in Robbins Rest and The Dock is in Fair Harbor.
And Flynn's in Ocean Bay Park - decent food and always a good time.

Re: fire island restaurants
Thank you so much!! Are all these walking distance from the ferry? Forgive me for the silly questions! I've never been there

They are all walking distance from the ferries. There are different ferries for each town. Once you get to the town you are going to, everything is walking distance, and short walking distance at that. If you want more specific info, feel free to FM

What part are you going to? I have no idea! My birthday is on Monday so we wanted to go there and celebrate. Just looking for a restaurant prefferably not seafood that we can sit on the water and just hang out.

I can recommend a bunch in Ocean Beach. Maguires, The Mermaid, Matthews and The hideaway are all on the water. The Hideaway is really good...a little on the pricey side but the food is great.
