Finally .. Officially decided on our nursery theme.. Beatles Theme
Without a shadow of a doubt it is going to be Yellow Submarine.
Since this is unusual to say the least a lot of it will be craft projects and creative thinking.
Bedding will be in primary colors of dark navy blue and bright yellow
Walls will be a shade of orange to match the submarine.
We are buying Yellow Submarine patches to make our own mobile. I will get a generic crib and changing table and hand paint in the designs I want.
We are going to try to find key chains to convert into knobs.
Whew…. Lots of work ahead.
Here’s my starters
I bought a Blue Meanie Beanie doll
I spoke to the artist of the painting below.
The painting is $4500 and its one of a kind original.
That is out of my budget
After a great discussion with the artist himself, we have agreed to a smaller version, screen print (museum quality) framed replica for $400 shipped. I may make it a bit larger and go for full size at $600 and/or add some further pieces to be designed between him and I and painted by him as accompanying pieces to the main art work.
I am SO Excited!

Im so excited.
I think I can go totally primary colors with such a bold painting.
That will save me $$ and I think I can do the whole room for $1200
Oh and here's a chair we picked out!!
