Finalizing the menu for DS's 1st birthday

We are going to have approx. 50 adults.

6 ft. chicken cutlet hero
5 ft. Italian hero
macaroni & potato salad (not sure how many lbs. of each??)
debating between a pasta salad or green salad??
full tray of macaroni and cheese
full tray of swedish meatballs
full tray of hot wings
1/2 tray of corn casserole

For the kids I am making 1/2 tray of chicken nuggest and 1/2 tray of tater tots

I am doing a bunch of appetizers...cheese balls, chips, pretzels, spinach dip, taco dip, pigs in a blanket and probably another hot appetizer

Anything I should add or take out?

You made me very hungry!

All I would add or sub something for is a large salad (maybe caesar or something?)

Other than that, it sounds perfect!Chat Icon

I was thinking the same thing. You don't need to do the pasta salad you were thinking of. With the mac and cheese, potato salad, and other stuff you need one thing to lighten it up

Sounds good!

I would do a large regular salad instead of a pasta salad. We did a pasta salad and regular salad and the pasta salad was hardly touched.

I forgot to add I was doing a veggie platter on the appetizer table.

I also always put out fruit for dessert, either a fruit salad or this time I may do chocolate covered strawberries.

Caesar salad is a good idea. I am not going to make a huge one though because not everyone takes salad.
