Re: Final Walk Through
Ours took an hour or so... We turned on all the appliances, opened all the windows, etc. However, our sellers were staying for 12 days after closing and we were chatting with them, etc.
We have another walk-through tomorrow (after they move out) where we will also make sure everything that is supposed to go is gone and everything that is supposed to stay is there -- plus, check all appliances and windows again and survey for any additional damage.

Re: Final Walk Through
well I would say that is up to you really. It all depends how quickly you want to walk through the house. Make sure you bring a nightlight with you and check all the outlets. Look for any holes in the walls and make sure all the appliances and lights work. Oh yeah and make sure you turn the heat on to make sure the boiler works. Half hour - 45 mins. maybe. Good Luck!

Re: Final Walk Through
If they've moved out, also bring a flashlight... Some of the rooms in our home didn't have overhead lighting - and thus no lights.
