Few Questions about iui's

During my appt with Dr.B last week he said that iui's were going to be our best bet. He said to come in the first day of my next period when we are ready to move forward. I am a little worried because my work hours are 830-430 so I am really worried that this is going to be impossible. was Dr.B's office easy to work with? and does anyone know how much i need to be monitored? He said i was going to take medicine for 5 days during the month..

I'm having the same issues with taking off work. I'll most likely be changing my hours by one hour for 3 days straight. (sono, 2 IUIs)

I didn't have to go in CD1 though. I have to take the meds for 5 days and come in around CD11 for a sono and the next 2 days for IUIs. Everyone is different though so maybe there was a reason they wanted to see you CD1.

I also found Dr Braverman's hours to be inconvenient but unfortunately that's what his hours are there's really no way around it. I'd say that you will need to go about a couple of times a week. The first week you'll be going at least once between days 2 to 5 for CD3 testing and the second week maybe 2 times and then you'll be doing back to back IUIs which means you need to go in 2 days in a row. But then again, frequency of visits correlates with how you are responding so everyone is different.
