Fever for 9 days
Anyone's child ever have a fever lasting that long? If so what did your doctor do or say? Did he give you specific ideas as to why???
My dd is not that sick, but has the neverending fever. Any insight?

Did they test her for a UTI? I've read that sometimes UTIs have no symptoms other than a persistent fever.

I have no advice-we have never had a fever for more than a few days!! Usually once my dc was on an antibiotic the fever went away! There must be something going on to cause the fever to linger???

How high is the fever? If it is under 101 it could be from teething and I wouldn't be that concerned - also, if it is only low grade and you are taking it at night it could just be elevated from activity. If it is over 101 for that many days with no obvious reason why i would def. be going back to the ped
